PEACE ZONE Action is a collaborative group concern to designate private spaces as sites of peace. The different locations could be private premises or houses, working spaces or indoor meeting points. Any place located inside an architectural environment where their inhabitants consciously accept the grafitti PEACE ZONE. To designate any area as a PEACE ZONE will mean to consider it as a resisting site against the unpersonal forces of intolerance and violence. 20 PEACE ZONE aluminum graffiti stencils will be distributed to achieve a soft and friendly dissemination of the text and its message.

PEACE ZONE Action es una acción colaborativa en grupo para designar espacios privados como lugares de paz. Las localizaciones podrían ser instalaciones y/o casas privadas, lugares de trabajo y/o puntos de encuentro en espacios interiores. Puede ser cualquier lugar dentro de un entorno arquitectónico cuyos habitantes acepten el grafitti PEACE ZONE. Designar cualquier sitio como lugar de paz significará considerarlo como un lugar que resiste a las fuerzas impersonales de la intolerancia y la violencia. 20 plantillas de aluminio PEACE ZONE para hacer grafittis serán distribuidas intentando conseguir que su texto y su mensaje se disemine de manera amigable a través de la acción de múltiples personas.

RICHARD RADZINSKI´S PEACE ZONE CONTRIBUTION



 Richard Radzinski PEACE ZONE. As Richard said in his message: "Jesus, here you are my PEACE ZONE contribution. I have done it in a very simple way. This PEACE ZONE is located at a reading site where the message and its words are struggling with no peaceful books. I hope you like it. Richard." On the picture we can see a couple of books: Scherlock Holmes adventures by Conan Doyle and a Worlwide Atlas Book by Le Monde Diplomatique. I love it, Richard.

PEACE ZONE de Richard Radzinski. Richard escribió en su mensaje: "Jesús, aquí tienes mi contribución a PEACE ZONE. La he hecho de una manera muy sencilla. Esta ZONA de PAZ está ubicada en un espacio de lectura en el que el mensaje y las palabras PEACE ZONE contrastan con lecturas no siempre pacíficas.  Espero que te guste. Richard." En la imagen se pueden ver con claridad un par de libros: uno de aventuras de Sherlock Holmes de Conan Doyle  y el Atlas Mundial de Le Monde Diplomatique. Me encanta, Richard.

Victor Jaenada´s contribution to PEACE ZONE Action Barcelona. Though he didn´t get himself any aluminum graffiti stencil the day of the opening at HalfHouse, he sent us these pictures from his studio, actually designated as a site of peace. A makeshift collaboration with his doggie.

Contribución de Victor Jaenada a PEACE ZONE Action Barcelona. Aunque Víctor no cogió una plantilla para hacer graffitis el día de la inauguración en HalfHouse, nos envió estas imágenes de su estudio que ahora está ya designado como lugar de paz. Una aportación improvisada en colaboración con su perro.

PEACE ZONE ACTION BARCELONA. November 5 th. 2010



PEACE ZONE Action Barcelona was presented at HalfHouse Art Space on November 5 th. 2010 with a possitive and successful audience reaction. The 20 aluminum graffiti stencils were distributed among the public and now the soft distribution of its message is at work. We expect to have a lot of images of PEACE ZONE Action Barcelona very soon available on this blog. The picture above was taken by Yamandú Canosa.

PEACE ZONE Action Barcelona fue presentada públicamente el pasado día 5 de noviembre de 2010 en HalfHouse Art Space con una muy buena acogida. Las 20 plantillas de aluminio para hacer graffitis fueron distribuidas entre el público asistente y están ahora comenzando a ser usadas por los colaboradores anónimos de este proyecto. Esperamos poder mostrar imágenes de PEACE ZONE Action Barcelona muy pronto. La imagen de arriba fue tomada por Yamandú Canosa.
