PEACE ZONE Action is a collaborative group concern to designate private spaces as sites of peace. The different locations could be private premises or houses, working spaces or indoor meeting points. Any place located inside an architectural environment where their inhabitants consciously accept the grafitti PEACE ZONE. To designate any area as a PEACE ZONE will mean to consider it as a resisting site against the unpersonal forces of intolerance and violence. 20 PEACE ZONE aluminum graffiti stencils will be distributed to achieve a soft and friendly dissemination of the text and its message.

PEACE ZONE Action es una acción colaborativa en grupo para designar espacios privados como lugares de paz. Las localizaciones podrían ser instalaciones y/o casas privadas, lugares de trabajo y/o puntos de encuentro en espacios interiores. Puede ser cualquier lugar dentro de un entorno arquitectónico cuyos habitantes acepten el grafitti PEACE ZONE. Designar cualquier sitio como lugar de paz significará considerarlo como un lugar que resiste a las fuerzas impersonales de la intolerancia y la violencia. 20 plantillas de aluminio PEACE ZONE para hacer grafittis serán distribuidas intentando conseguir que su texto y su mensaje se disemine de manera amigable a través de la acción de múltiples personas.

ROCÍO FERNÁNDEZ´S PEACE ZONE CONTRIBUTION

Rocío Fernández quiere que el texto Peace Zone esté muy cerca de ella cada vez que se acomode en su sillón. Imagino que espera que el contacto del texto con su cuerpo le ayude a estar mejor. Es muy curioso que el texto para designar este espacio como lugar de paz esté realizado sobre una tela que simula la piel de una vaca !!! Curiosa mezcla de animal y texto !!!

Rocío Fernánde´s will and desire was to designate her private resting place as a site of peace. I guess, everytime she takes a rest on this apparently comfortable coach, she will feel much better and peacefully inspired by the text of peace. It is quite curious how Rocio decided to realize the graffiti on a fabric simulating the black and white skin of a cow !!! Curious combination of animal and text !!! Above the cow we can see a leopard skin blanket !!! A whole aninal environment desinated as site of peace !!! Amazing !!!
